I am soooooo exhausted today. Last night Lori picked me up after work to go get Keelinn from school. We went directly to Groton where Keelinn had me jumping on her new trampoline for what seemed like hours. We were finally able to coax her off the trampoline with a hot dog (we convinced her she had to eat to keep her energy up). I never knew what great exercise jumping on a trampoline is. Although jumping with a four-year old is a little different 'cause you gotta be super cautious... one wrong jump and she goes flying over the edge. I wish I had my camera, I don't know why I never bring it when I'm hanging out with Keelinn, it should be a given. After dinner she begged me to climb on the trampoline with her again but I told her my stomach needed to settle. She looked at me and said, "That's ok. I'm going to jump on the trampoline... with diva girl." I started laughing hysterically. Diva girl is the doll she got in her last burger king kid's meal. :-) That poor doll didn't know what was coming... Then, we watched Keelinn's dance recital tape. Of course Keelinn HAD to put on her dance dress so that I could see it... and her dance shoes. She did the steps alongside the video and even did all the steps with the "big girls." She's way too adorable. Then I got to go through the nightly book-reading ritual (Beauty and the Beast and The Hunchback of Notre Dame) and tucked her into bed. She had exhausted me so thoroughly I was OUT by 10:00. I didn't have the energy to stay up and watch Boston 24/7. The first face I saw this morning was Keelinn's... she came into my bedroom after her shower to wake me up. Heh. I can't think of a better way to start the day...
