It takes a village... ...to nurse a sick cat back to health. This morning I came into work and my boss had brought in some of the food he gives his cat with a little note that said, 'Try this.' Awwwwwwwwww. This will make food trial #7 (if you count the tuna I tried to feed her last night... she drank all the water from the can but didn't actually EAT the tuna itself). So, really, the only thing she's shown complete interest in is cooked chicken and she's eaten a few 'Pounce' treats. Does this mean I'm going to have to tube-feed AND cook for her? You've Got Mail I finished watching one of my favorite movies last night... You've Got Mail. There are so many cutie lines that I feel I gotta repeat a few of them... There was the email that Kathleen (Meg Ryan) sends to Joe (Tom Hanks) after he's 'stood her up' for what was supposed to be their first meeting. She says this about the emails they've been exchanging ... 'this form of communication lends itself to talking about nothing. But I have to say that all of these nothings mean more to me than so many somethings.' And then there's the scene where Frank (Greg Kinnear) is 'dumping' Kathleen and asks her if there is anyone else in the picture... she says, 'No, but there is the dream of someone else.' And then of course one of the last lines of the movie when Kathleen and Joe finally 'meet' in the park and Kathleen says, 'I wanted it to be you. I wanted it to be you so badly.' *sniffle* Yikes. I'm such a sap. That reminds me (since I'm a sucker for romantic comedies) that I need to go rent Serendipity with John Cusack. I LOVED that movie when I saw it in the theater and I want to see it again. ;-) | private feedback | |
